I saw Never Let Me Go. I loved the film, even though I had tears just STREAMING down my face. A snippet of the idea there carried over to Mother Confessor 2 (and therefore 1, because I knew 2 was coming...), but my clones wanted to do more and be more than clones, so I let them. My characters walk all over me, and I let them. It's a painful relationship, but that doesn't make it invalid. ;)

I like your analysis of _Persona_. I have a problem with friends and family being able to write reviews (like on Amazon), but authors can't, because clearly THE AUTHORS are biased.

You are inspiring me to create a 2nd blog -- just for the books I read. Maybe I will, maybe I won't, but I read a lot and it would be nice to direct people to my reviews instead of giving reviews on the spot when someone tells me a plot idea and I say "Oh, like in [author name]'s [title]." And of course I read obscure stuff, so the blank stare I get is fully deserved. Anyway, so you should know now that if I ever create a book-review blog, you will get credit slash blame for the opening volley.

Several spiders can protect your home from pesky invaders. Cellar spiders-the web-spinning species most common in homes-have been known to prey on black widow spiders. Some, like the spiny orb weaver and house spiders, can hunt crickets and small flying insects. Wolf spiders can help rid lawns and gardens of common pests. Even the brown recluse-the most dangerous spider to humans-can assist by eating cockroaches, silverfish and other soft-bodied insects.:

Nice post. Thanks for saying it. I have so many friends, past, current, future, who were born gay. Not a choice. Treating them unequally is so last millennium.

Saw Wicked here (okay, two hours away) in San Francisco and it was great. Have a wonderful time.
